Curriculum Vitae

Spanish Version

Dr. de Erausquin graduated from the School of Medicine of the Universidad de Buenos Aires, in Argentina, in 1986. He received a Fellowship from the Council of Scientific and Technological Research of Argentina to complete graduate studies in Behavioral Pharmacology at the same university, and received a Ph.D. in 1990. After two years of post-doctoral training at the Fidia-Georgetown Institute for the Neurosciences in Washington, D.C., he moved to Yale University, where he completed a residency in Psychiatry and a fellowship in Biochemical Brain Imaging, funded by the Veterans Administration. He then trained in Neurology at Washington University, where he joined the faculty after graduation and was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology. In 2009 he moved to Harvard Medical School, where he became Clinical Director of Neuromodulation of the Institute of Neurosciences at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and codirector of the Laboratory of Brain Development, Modulation and Repair. Dr. de Erausquin has received several prestigious awards for his research, including the Young Investigator Award of the International Society of Schizophrenia, the APA-Dista Residents Research Award of the American Psychiatric Association, the S Weir Mitchell Award of the American Academy of Neurology, the Joint Junior Faculty Award of the United Parkinson Foundation and the Parkinson Disease Foundation, and the NARSAD Klerman Award in Clinical Psychiatry. He has been Stephen and Constance Lieber Investigator, and Syndey R. Baer Jr. Investigator.
