Georges Mion was born in 1959, in Dôle, Jura, France.
Graduated from Bordeaux university in 1983 and from the french military and tropical medecine school in 1985.
Fellowship at Assistance Publique of Paris (1983-1988).
Physician at the military Burn treatment Center (Percy)(1988-1990).
Spent 3 years in East Africa, Djibouti (1994-1997).
Professor of Anesthesiology, Director of the school for anesthetic nurses, responsible for teaching of emergency and war medicine at the Val-de-Grâce Military Hospital in Paris, France.
Particularly involved in pharmacology (ketamine, hypertonic saline), analgesia, safety, burn out, medical statistics and snake envenoming.
