ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES:
· Founded the "Computer-Aided Learning Center” at Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. The center was established as part of the funded Joint European Project JEP-30065, entitled "Pharmacy Education Using Computer-Based Knowledge".
· Founded the “Pharmacy Practice Center” at both Suez Canal University and Misr International University, Egypt. The center is designed for training pharmacy students on various aspects of pharmacy practice using samples of the currently marketed pharmaceutical products.
· Visited the National University of Ireland, Medical School, June, 2004. The visit concerned with “modern teaching mehodologies”. The visit was funded by JEP-30065.
· Visited Liverpool John Moores University, School of Pharmacy, UK, October, 2004. Partcipated in modern teaching methods including the application of Computer-Aided Learning in pharmacy education. The visit was funded by JEP-30065.
· Visited Bath University, Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, UK, March, 2006; The visit was about the use of Computer-Aided Learning programs in teaching pharmacology and research program at Bath University. The visit was funded by JEP-30065.
· Visited China to set up a line of cooperation and sign an agreement of cooperation between Suez Canal University and several chineese universities during the period, June 19-29, 2007, including:
